    Government, U.S. History

    Miss Angelini is originally from Paso Robles. She received her BA in History with a minor in Economics from Cal State, Bakersfield. She received her teaching credential in social science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. This is her third year teaching at Arroyo Paseo and is thrilled and grateful to be working in its community. Her personal goal is to spread and pass along her love for travel, cultures, learning, and history to her students!

    Ms. Berba is a native San Diegan who received her BA in Pre Law from National University and then her teaching credential from Point Loma Nazarene University. She currently teaches social sciences and is working on finishing her thesis to receive her masters degree from PLNU this spring.

    Ms. Leathers joined Arroyo Paseo as the office manager in 2013. She grew up Mexicali, earned her Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the Autonomous University of Baja California and has been involved in the education for over ten years. Serving as a translator prepared her for cross-cultural environments. Her Master’s coursework in Environmental Health provided her with the opportunity to publish a report on the effects of air quality in lower income and international populations. Ms. Leathers is thankful to be a part of Arroyo Paseo's positive community where she can interact with students and witness their growth.

    Sra. Nava was raised in Texas and is very passionate about the Spanish language and culture. She holds a BA in Spanish Literature from Cal State San Marcos and a MA in Education. Outside of the classroom she loves to spend time with family and friends, reading and playing soccer.

    Mr. Neufeld is a first year teacher at Arroyo Paseo. He studied Biology at Sierra Nevada College in Lake Tahoe, where he earned his teaching credential as well. His love for the outdoors, ecology, botany and land management fuels his passion for teaching Life Sciences. Outside of school, he enjoys hiking, surfing and live music.

    Ms. Reinboldt, a Virginia native, earned her Masters of Teaching and Bachelors of Arts in English from Virginia Commonwealth University. This is her ninth year teaching and her second year teaching 10th and 12th grade English at APHS.

    Ms. Upham has been an English teacher with Arroyo Paseo Charter High for two years. Originally from a small town in Northern California, she moved south to Santa Barbara for her undergraduate degree before going on to complete her Masters in Education at the University of San Diego. She enjoys being part of the APHS family because of the unique opportunity to work closely with and fully support all students!
